How to redeem the discount

Put the items you want into the basket and enter the discount code at checkout. The deduction appears in the summary straight away, before you send the order — so you can see exactly what you are saving. The code can be applied to any number of items. It is therefore worth combining into one order what was on the list anyway, rather than buying twice separately.

Promotions like this run for a limited period. Once it has expired, the code no longer works — nor retrospectively for orders already placed. If you are unsure whether a model will still be available, do not wait too long: at reduced prices, the sizes and colours in demand are usually the first to go.

Which wallet suits you

With a promotion covering the whole range, the choice is more likely too large than too small. Two questions narrow it down quickly: how many cards do you really carry around, and do you need a coin compartment? If you rarely pay in cash, a card holder or a slim wallet will do. Both stay flat and hardly show in a trouser pocket. If you collect change or carry a lot of cards, a large wallet serves you better.

In between sits the classic portrait-format wallet: enough room for notes, cards and coins without showing through a jacket. If you want to fasten your wallet to a belt or a bag, the wallets with a chain have the right build. And for anyone who pays contactless, models with RFID protection are worth a look.

Handcrafted from genuine leather

All models in the range are handcrafted and made of genuine cowhide or buffalo leather. The material is thicker and more hard-wearing than coated alternatives and ages visibly: it darkens, becomes softer and takes on its own patina. A reduced price changes none of that — the workmanship is the same on every piece, on offer or not.

Because leather is a natural product, no two pieces are exactly alike. Grain, texture and shade come out slightly differently. That is not a defect but the difference from industrially uniform synthetic leather — and the reason a leather wallet looks like yours after a few years and not like everyone else's.

Making the leather last

Leather needs little care, but it needs some regularly. Two or three times a year it is enough to apply leather grease thinly and let it soak in — that keeps the material supple and protects it against damp. If a piece does get properly wet, it does not belong on the radiator but should be left to dry at room temperature. Drying too quickly makes leather hard and lets it crack at the edges.

With wallets the most common cause of wear is not the leather but overfilling. Forcing twelve cards into a slot meant for eight, day in day out, stretches the seams. Choosing a size up is usually cheaper than buying again after two years.

When the promotion is over

Discount promotions run for a limited period. After that, two places remain for good-value pieces: the Sale with permanently reduced models that stay in the range, and the Outlet with discontinued models and remainders. If you are waiting for a particular model, look in there regularly — the stock changes constantly.
