Luggage takes more punishment than anything else you own. It gets thrown, stacked, dragged over cobbles and squeezed into overhead lockers. Leather forgives that, because a scuff on it does not look like damage but like use.

Our travel range comprises nine pieces: trolleys in two sizes, travel and sports bags, a wash bag, a passport holder, a travel wallet and the luggage tag with a name card.

Trolley or travel bag

The decision depends less on the volume of luggage than on the route. If you are rolling across platforms and airports, you are better off with the trolley. If stairs, cobbles or narrow passages lie ahead, carrying is the better option.

The small things

What makes a trip pleasant is rarely the large items. A passport holder keeps the document flat and free of creases, a travel wallet separates two currencies, a luggage tag with a name card saves the search at the belt. The wash bag stands upright and can be hung up, which makes the difference in small hotel bathrooms.

Frequently asked questions

Is the cabin trolley accepted by every airline?

It keeps within the common cabin baggage dimensions. As individual airlines allow less, it is worth checking their figures before you fly — the measurements are on the product page.

How delicate is leather when travelling?

Less than you would think. Water dries out, scratches work themselves in over time. What leather does not like is lasting damp and direct heat — so do not leave it soaking wet in the boot.

Can I take the wash bag in my hand luggage?

Yes. Liquids have to go separately into the clear pouch as usual; the bag itself is no problem.

What is the difference between a travel wallet and a normal one?

The travel wallet is larger, takes boarding passes and receipts unfolded and has separate compartments for two currencies. For everyday use it is oversized; on the road it is exactly right.

Sind eure Lederwaren wasserfest?

Our leather goods are made from high-quality, hard-wearing buffalo leather, which is naturally water-repellent. Light rain does them no harm, but they are not fully waterproof.

To keep your Hodalump products going for years, we recommend regular care with our leather grease. If your bag or wallet does get wet, let it dry slowly in the air — never directly on a radiator. Dirt can be removed carefully with a dry cloth.

With the right care, your Hodalump stays a reliable companion in any weather.

How long does delivery take?

We know you want your new Hodalump bag in your hands as soon as possible. That is why we usually ship orders within 24 hours of receiving payment.

Delivery within Germany takes around 1–2 working days. Orders to other European countries can take 2–4 working days depending on the country. We work with reliable carriers such as DHL to make sure your parcel reaches you quickly and safely.

As soon as your parcel is on its way, you will receive a shipping confirmation with a tracking number so you can follow your order at any time.

How do returns and exchanges work?

We want you to be completely happy with your Hodalump order. If an item does not meet your expectations, or you would like to exchange it, you can do so easily.

Can I buy your products in shops as well?

Yes, you can buy our leather goods in store too — at selected OBI and Hagebau stores, at various specialist leather retailers and in local shops. Altogether we are stocked by more than 500 retailers. There you can also pick up our products and see the quality for yourself. The widest choice, though, is right here in our online shop.
